Terms of Service

Last updated: June 17, 2026

📖 The plain-English version

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a contract between you and Novatrix Consulting LLC SPC, a company registered in the United Arab Emirates ("we," "us," or "our"), governing your use of NovexDocs, including our website, mobile applications, and API (collectively, the "Service").

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Who can use NovexDocs

You must be at least 16 years old to use NovexDocs. If you are using the Service on behalf of a company or organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

3. Your account

4. What you can upload

You may use NovexDocs to store personal documents like IDs, certificates, licenses, insurance documents, and similar records. You may not use NovexDocs to upload:

We do not actively monitor the content of your uploads, but we reserve the right to investigate when we receive credible reports of abuse.

5. Ownership of your content

You own the documents you upload. You retain all rights to your content. By uploading content to NovexDocs, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display that content solely for the purpose of providing you the Service — including running AI features at your request, displaying documents in your account, sending you alerts, and so on. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, subject to the retention periods described in our Privacy Policy.

We do not claim ownership of your content. We do not use your content to train AI models. We do not sell access to your content.

6. Subscriptions and billing

Plans

NovexDocs offers a free tier and several paid subscription tiers (Pro, Premium, Elite). Each tier provides a specified amount of storage, document count limits, and AI feature usage. Current pricing and limits are shown on our pricing page.

Refunds

Subscriptions are generally non-refundable. If you cancel mid-period, you keep access until the period ends and no refund is issued for the unused portion. We may, at our discretion, offer a refund in cases of:

To request a refund, email support@novexdocs.com.

7. Free tier

The free tier is provided as-is and may be subject to additional limits or changes with reasonable notice. We may suspend or remove inactive free accounts as described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Service availability

We work hard to keep NovexDocs available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance windows, third-party outages (AWS, Stripe, Anthropic), and unforeseen events may cause downtime. We do not provide a formal SLA for any tier. We will communicate planned maintenance in advance when possible.

9. Termination

You may close your account at any time

From your account settings or by emailing support@novexdocs.com. We will delete your data per the retention timelines in our Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or terminate your account

If we terminate your account for a reason other than abuse or illegal activity, we will give you a reasonable opportunity to export your data first.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

AI features are not perfect. Field extraction may produce incorrect results. Always verify extracted data against the original document before relying on it for any important purpose. We are not responsible for decisions you make based on AI-extracted data without verification.

NovexDocs is not a backup service. While we maintain backups for our own operational purposes, you should keep independent copies of important documents.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from or related to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) USD 50.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitations of liability, so some of the above may not apply to you. In that case, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims arising out of your violation of these Terms, your violation of any law, or your infringement of any third party's rights, including the cost of reasonable legal fees.

13. Changes to the Service

We may add, remove, or change features over time. We will give reasonable notice for material reductions in functionality on paid plans. We may discontinue the Service entirely with at least 60 days' notice and a way for you to export your data.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the Service at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of NovexDocs after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent version.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts of the United Arab Emirates, except that we may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to protect our intellectual property or confidential information.

If you are a consumer resident in a jurisdiction that grants you the right to bring proceedings in your local courts, this clause does not override that right.
